Hi, I’m Mark Powers Lobo, a graphic designer from Northern Illinois. Born in Lake Forest, I received my BFA in Graphic Design from Iowa State University in 2000. In 2016, I received a certificate in web design from the continuing studies program at the School of the Art Institute, Chicago. I share life with my wife, Julia and our grumpy tuxedo cat, Marlene.
I began taking photographs as a hobby in the mid ’00s. See some of my photography here. You can occasionally catch my band, Hoarse Heckler, at indie rock bars around Chicago.
